Here are some of the technologies that we have experience in.

Bluetooth®

Bluetooth® wireless technology uses short-range radio links in order to build up Personal Area Networks (PANs) that can link together multiple devices to allow for the easy transfer of audio and other low-bandwidth data between them.

Bluetooth is an open standard that is controlled by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). It is one of the most pervasive low power radio technologies and is a common feature of mobile phones, tablets, laptops and games systems.

Bluetooth® Low Energy

Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE; previously known as Bluetooth Smart) is a reduced-power version of Bluetooth that is optimised for short-burst data transmission.

Bluetooth® Mesh

Bluetooth Mesh is an optional enhancement to Bluetooth Low Energy that adds a topology for interoperable, vendor-agnostic many-to-many (m:m) device communications. It enables the creation of large-scale device networks and is ideally suited for control, monitoring, tracking and automation systems where tens, hundreds, or thousands of devices need to reliably and securely communicate with one another.

UWB

Ultra Wideband is a technology used for transmitting high bandwidth data, such as video or audio, over a wide spectrum of frequency bands, across short-ranges, using low-power.

Zigbee®

ZigBee® is a low-cost, embedded wireless communications solution using small, low-power digital radios for wireless personal area network (WPAN) monitoring and control applications.

MacOS DFU Tools

Software tools designed to allow 3rd party companies to embedded support for DFU-over-USB into their own macOS applications.

CSR Synergy™

CSR Synergy™ is an integrated wireless host software solution for embedded systems, providing a common Application Programming Interface (API) to multiple technologies, allowing the developer to integrate several wireless features each with their own dedicated stack.

Interface Express™

Interface Express™ is a Bluetooth application profile library, developed by Cambridge Consultants, which can be integrated along with bespoke applications directly onto Cambridge Silicon Radio’s (CSR) BlueCore™ range of chips.
